Whole Soyabeans

New Zealand-grown, GE-free (non-GMO) soybeans grown in partnership with New Zealand farmers. Pure Oil New Zealand’s soybeans are grown and packaged in Canterbury. These whole beans are cleaned and have a low chaff rate of just 0.05%. As they are whole beans they are ready for a wide variety of uses including tofu, tempeh, miso, sprouts, soy sauce and more. You can choose from convenient 25kg bags, larger bulk bags, or opt for bulk purchases, tailored to your needs. Our soybeans are cleaned, unsplit and dehulled – no heat has been used to process, ensuring you receive them in their purest form.

Locally grown GE free

Locally grown in partnership with New Zealand farmers, these soybeans promise a product that’s not only sustainable but also supports local agriculture, embodying the essence of New Zealand’s commitment to natural farming practices. Over the last four years, our Agronomy team and grower suppliers have collaborated to consistently cultivate high quality soybeans, once deemed not viable in New Zealand due to climate.

Sustainably grown

Soybeans are an exciting development for Pure Oil NZ and New Zealand farmers as they naturally fix nitrogen in the soil. By including soybeans into crop rotations growers use less nitrogen fertilizer. That benefits the environment and positively affects the soils physical properties. Sourcing local soybeans also reduces the distance they need to travel which also ensures a fresher bean for your use.
