EZI RELEASE
EZI RELEASE is a premium, environmentally friendly concrete release agent made from recycled sunflower and rapeseed oil grown in New Zealand. Through an innovative process, these natural oils are converted into high-quality Methyl Esters. Methyl Esters made from high-oleic oils have superior release agent properties due in part to the abundance of long-chain fatty acids, which result in slower flow, better adhesion, and increased durability.
Diesel-Free Form Release
Ezi Release is a concrete release agent that prevents sticking to formwork for a smoother finish. It is an eco-friendly and safer alternative to petroleum-based products, as it is biodegradable, non-toxic, and has a higher flash point. Its viscosity ensures better adhesion, reducing waste and overall usage.

- Creates a Barrier: Forms a thin, lubricating layer between the concrete and the formwork.
- Reduces Adhesion: Prevents concrete from bonding to formwork surfaces including wood, metal, and plastic. Improves Surface Finish: High lubricity reduces surface defects like staining or pitting, resulting in cleaner, smoother concrete.
- Better for the Environment: Renewable, biodegradable, and non-toxic. Emits fewer VOCs than petroleum-based products.
- Better for Staff: Safer to handle than mineral diesel, which contains sulphur and aromatics that can cause skin irritation and long-term health risks. Higher flash point (~130°C) reduces fire risk, and low odour makes for a more pleasant application.
- Lower Application Rates: Higher viscosity improves adhesion to formwork, reducing runoff and decreasing overall usage.

We supply locally grown, refined oils to restaurants and cafes. Once the oil has reached the end of its fry-life, we collect it and convert it into Ezi Release. This process supports a local, sustainable cycle while providing excellent performance and safer conditions for staff.

Easy to Use
Applying Ezi Release is a straightforward process. Just start with a clean, dry surface and use your preferred method – a sprayer, brush, or roller – to apply a thin, even coat. This versatile product is non-hazardous, making it safe and easy to handle while ensuring consistent coverage on any common formwork material.
Technical Information
Preparation: Ensure formwork surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dirt, dust, or previous release agents before application. Suitable for use on wood, metal, plastic, and other common formwork materials.
Application Methods: Spraying: Use a low-pressure spray applicator to ensure even coverage. Brushing/Rolling: Apply a thin, uniform coat using a brush or roller. Avoid over-application; excess agent can cause surface imperfections. Allow up to 4 hours drying time.
