In Spring 2021 Pure Oil New Zealand Limited contracted x3 Grower Suppliers to plant total of 20Ha of early maturing soyabeans. This is a larger scale commercial trial to determine whether New Zealand can produce a good quality soyabean at sufficient yields. We intend to process the soyabeans in our cold pressing expellers and through the high shear expander extruder. Early sign of the soyabean project is positive and the agronomic impacts of a low input, nitrogen fixing crop are a very exciting prospect to New Zealand arable secor.
