- Choose the right valve (bucket drain or camlock fitting).
- Make sure the valve is closed before connecting.
- Clean the valve connection area.
- Unscrew the bottom plug and remove the plastic seal/teeth.
- Thread the valve in straight – avoid cross-threading.
- The valve pierces the bladder as it goes in.
- Once connected, open the valve to start draining.
- Expect some drips – close it when done, let it drip, then clean up.
Tips:
- Don’t pierce the bladder with the valve open.
- We can supply custom valve fittings to suit your setup.
Flexi Container Setup

- Open one container door.
- Locate the 3″ camlock pipe.
- Remove the safety cap and connect your hose (make sure it clicks in securely).
- Use a blade to cut the internal safety seal.
- Begin draining.
- After about 40 mins, open the second door and remove the safety bar.
- Climb in and fold the bladder to help the last of the oil flow out.
- Lift the back of the container using a forklift to fully empty it.
Tips:
- Always double-check camlock connections before cutting the safety seal.
- Tilting the container ensures no oil is left behind.
